Strategy, design, development, project management. The power of specialisation in one digital team.

We love to take on complex IT challenges to create clear digital platforms. Our values play an important role in this.

No matter how difficult it is: we make it clear. For ourselves, our clients and the users. This results in sustainable architecture, smooth processes, and better products.

Oberon,
our story
since 1993.

In 1993 Hans-Peter Harmsen (HP) started Oberon with the vision to make digital technology easy and accessible for users. This started by making physical information-pillars with touchscreens. Not long after this, the switch to the Internet was made.

Initially, HP's passion for technology attracted primarily developers. The growing technical team helped clients with complex digital challenges and translated these into user-friendly digital products.

By 2022, Oberon has grown into a fully-fledged digital agency with all the necessary disciplines to create concepts, design, build, maintain and grow digital platforms. And although the online world has changed enormously over the past 28 years, Oberon's passion for technology and the drive to make it clear still prevails.

Acquisition Atabix

Since April 2023, Oberon has become part of the Atabix Group. This means that Oberon will now operate as part of the group. Atabix Group has acquired all the shares of Oberon.

Atabix, like Oberon, operates from Amsterdam and primarily employs programmers and project managers. They focus specifically on government and large corporate clients, offering their own SaaS platform and customized solutions. Leading clients include the Institute of Mining Damage Groningen, the RVO, the Healthcare Institute, and more recently, the RIVM.
